She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lula Coleman Grady and Roy Sanders; her daughters, Velvet Jan Mercer and Theresa Ann Averett (Bernard); her grandchildren, RenQuista Brooks (Jerrod), Brian Franklin, Jr., Renekia Mercer, Tayla Franklin, Khrislyn Averett and Tristian Hall; her great grandchildren, Aiden and Abella Brooks; her nieces and nephews, Johnny Frank Coleman and Bertina Carnes (Willie B.); her siblings, Erma Jean Coleman, Ollie Mae Bryant, Christine Williams and Charlie Sanders, Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Rosie Sanders and Willie Bell Mercer.
