He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred; and his wife Patsy Shehane. He is survived by: his daughters, Tena Moore (Roger), Debbie Motycka (Michael) and Glenda Lee (Philip); his sister Glenda Gail Landis (David); his grandchildren, Jennifer Deal (Jonah), Christopher Moore (Jennifer), Gregg Moore, Jason Motycka (Brittany) and Tyler Lee; and his great grandchildren, Kendal, Kaylee, Cayden, Dallas, Layla and Thomas. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to concord Baptist Church, Salem, Alabama.
