It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sidney Hoven of Salitpa, Alabama, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady H. Hoven and Noma B. Hoven; his wife Gloria Lynn Carter Hoven; his sister Martha Nan Hoven; and his great grandchild Landon Chase Tillman.
He is survived by: his children, Stewart K. Hoven (Karen), Harold S. Hoven (Susan), Danny M. Hoven, Sr. (Martha) and Martha Lynn Dunagan; his close friend George F. "Sonny" Hudson; and his friend Ralph Strong. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River Hill Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
