It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Madelean Cassady of Samson, Alabama, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Jackson Jones and Alma Woodall Jones; her husband Albert Cassady; her daughter Patricia "Pat" Weeks; her grandson Wetzel Weeks; and her sister Delana Thornton of Tallahassee, FL..

She is survived by : her daughters, Alethea Gilmore of Alabaster and Cynthia Bradshaw (Lomax) of Jack, AL; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Mullins of Andalusia, Carrie Spinks (Rusty) of Kinston, Jennifer Wood (Lance) of Goodman, Jonathan Wright (Tonya) of Samson, Carrie Tevis (Mark) of San Antiono, TX and Joy Smith (Jermey) of Hartselle. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Home Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
