It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Mahan Gilmore of Samson, Alabama, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Lee, Sr.; her husband Jerry Gilmore; her daughter Debra D. Bryan Gilmore; her son-in-law Dr. Dwight L. Crews Jr.; her grandson-in-law Wesley Holland; and her great grandchild Makenzie Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Gilmore Crews of Geneva, AL, Lisa Gilmore Rzoska (Jeff) and Shelly Gilmore of Elba, AL.; her grandchildren, Steve Stowe (Rene) of Dallas, TX, Brandy Holland (Jay McCall) of Samson, AL, Trae Crews (Rebecca) of Geneva, AL, Kyle Owens of Charlotte, SC, Sydney Russell (Devin Jones) of Samson, AL, Kayla Owens of Goose Creek, SC, Charli Adams of Samson, AL and Blake Rzoska of Goose Creek, SC.; and her brother Jesse Lee Mahan, Jr. of Samson, AL. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. and a number of special nieces and nephews.
