He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sullivan and Edna Sue Thames Warren; his grandson Warren Tate Sutherland; and his siblings, Betty W. Sumner and Bill Warren.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy D. Warren of Samson, AL; his children, Dawn Averett (Eddie) of Chancellor, AL and Derek Warren (Rebecca) of Samson, AL; his grandchildren, Jessie Jones (James) of Samson, AL and Derek Allen Warren of Pensacola, FL; his great grandchild Ada Jane Jones of Samson, AL; his brother Donny Warren (Jawona) of Warner Robins, GA; and his grandchildren, Ashley Averett Powell, Mallory Averett Mixon, Cory Sutherland and Alex Sutherland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Samson, 100 W. Main Street, Samson, AL 36375, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
