With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Sue Herrell of Samson, Alabama, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Norton Nation and William Thomas Nation. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Herrell; her sons, Patrick Maddox (Carey), Nathaniel Maddox (Carla) and Cody Maddox (Sara); and her siblings, Wilmer Nation (Susie), Ellen Webster (Terrell), Charlotte Dial (Alford), Edna Shannon (John), Glenna Kinder (Kenneth), Sheila Sidebottom (Rodney) and Tammy Davis (Gerald). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
