He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie Ray Edison; his grandson J. T. Jackson; and his siblings, Steve Ray Edison and Jana Edison Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Merritt Edison of Samson; his children, Beth Edison Jackson of Opp, AL, Lucas Keith Edison (Nikki) of Samson and Samuel Steve Edison (Amber) of Samson; his grandchildren, Gracy Jackson, Liz Ann Jackson, Carly Edison, Tinsley Edison, John Luke Edison, Grant Edison and Willow Edison; his stepparents, Fred Lankford of Andalusia, AL and Janice Edison of Brantley, AL; and his stepsiblings, Kevin Atwell of Brantley, AL, Robert Lankford of Andalusia, AL and Terri Lankford Stewart of Andalusia, AL. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
