She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sanders and Mary Sanders; her husband Nathan Cotton; and her son-in-law Benny Helms. She is survived by: her children, Doyle Cotton, Kathy Helms, Carol Adams (Randy) and Dianne Hornsby (Wyman); her grandchildren, Randy, Brandy, Mark, Michael, Trevor, Bailey and Kynsee; her great grandchildren, Reese, Kennedy, John Beckham, Brody, Natalie, Mary Kate, Kamp, Hunter and Mikayla; and her great great grandchild Everett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Geneva, AL 36477). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
