He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Saunders and Katherine Spann Saunders; and his brother Charles Saunders. He is survived by: his wife Maria Saunders of Samson; his daughter Amanda Saunders of Tampa, FL; and his sisters, Joyce Hamm of Birmingham and Sherry Saunders of Samson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pittman Funeral Home - Samson (731 S Johnson St, Samson, AL 36477). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
