He is survived by: his wife Peggy Day Brooks of Samson, AL; his sons, Keith Olen Brooks (Patricia) of McKinney, TX and Kevin Lamar Brooks (Emily) of Cleveland, GA; his grandchildren, Brandon Brooks of McKinney, TX, Matthew Brooks (Caitlin) of Argyle, TX, Chelsea Brooks Thomas (Kyle) of Murrayville, GA and Elijah Brooks of Cleveland, GA; and his great grandchildren, Maddie Brooks, Brody Brooks, Cole Brooks, Maggie Thomas, Adalyn Thomas and Henry Thomas. He is also survived by friends, extended family.
