He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilbert and Gertrude Elaine Helton McPherson; his wife Ruth; and his sister Madelyn. He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Murphy of Samson, Timothy McPherson of Columbus, Christopher McPherson of Columbus and Adam McPherson of Albuquerque. He is also survived by other extended family include cousins, nieces, and nephews.
