With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lamar Davidson of Saraland, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Davidson (McAdams); his parents, Jeremiah Jerome and Clara Lillie Bell Davidson (Beaird); and his siblings, Lorene, Gussie, Nellie, Betty, Chester, Hazel, Serena, Robert, Sue, Murray, Jerry and Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Ann Davidson, Kelley McVay (Steve) and Amber Schneider (Steve); his grandchildren, Brittany Tucker (Josh), Carrie Valdez (Brian), Emily Rodgers (Blakley), James West (Katrina), Jordan West, Connor McVay (Jennifer) and Holly Bell (Gannon); his great grandchildren, Harper, Bryce Tucker, Tinsley, Brooks Rodgers, Zelah, Amelia West, Mac and Myer McVay; and his caregiver Patsy Fortner.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
