She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Naler and Noma Leeth Naler; her husband Guy Slaton; her son Micka Slaton; and her brother Ralph Naler.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie (David Cosper); her sister Sana Cobb of Boaz; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Naler of Boaz and Louise Slaton of Birmingham, Special; and her nephew Lee (Annette Cobb). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
