He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Louise Greer; his son Kim Greer; and his parents, Ernest Greer and Lydia Greer. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Greer (Diane), Mark Greer (Dawn) and Mike Greer; his grandchildren, Coby Greer, Jazmen McCright (Justin), Tanner Greer (Dillon), Jae Patterson (Ty) and Hunter Greer (Mackenzie); his great grandchildren, Stella McCright, Dawson Greer, Walker Patterson and Riggins Greer; his sister Patricia McCormick (Gerald); and his adoptive son Eddie Battles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
