He is survived by: his wife Christine Hammett Murdock; his daughter Lynise McSpadden; his sister Joice Murdock; his nephew Frank Lawrence; and his cousin Bruce Sanford. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
