We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025, at the age of 78, Carroll DeVon McQueen Jr. (Sardis, Alabama), born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carroll DeVon McQueen Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll DeVon McQueen Sr. and Constance Cole McQueen; his brother Charles Michael "Mike" McQueen; and his siblings-in-law, Bill McDanal and Wanda McDanal.
He is survived by: his wife Marydell McDanal McQueen; his sons, Christopher DeVon McQueen (Lindzy) and Jonathan Arlington McQueen (Andrea); his stepdaughter Amanda "Mandy" McQueen Wasden (Josh); his grandchildren, Carroll DeVon McQueen, Jackson Anthony McQueen and James Owen McQueen; his siblings-in-law, Terry McQueen, Dusty McDanal and Kim McDanal; and his aunt Mary Anne Cole. He is also survived by niece and numerous nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (1767 Co Rd 12, Sardis, AL 36775). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Julian McQueen Cemetery.
