It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Desaree C. Wells (Sardis, Alabama), who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Desaree is survived by: children, James Wells Sr., Massie Hardy (Russell), Rosa Richardson and Gracie Wells; goddaughters, Paula King and Selena Hunter; and brother-in-law William Carter Sr.. Desaree is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, nineteen nieces, fourteen nephews.
