He was predeceased by : his son Joe Van Russell; his parents, Howard Russell and Nina Russell; and his brother Max Russell. He is survived by : his wife Dean Russell; his daughter Temple Pruett; his granddaughter Eva Pruett; and his sisters, Shelby Scott of Boaz, Debbie Crawford (Steve) and Lisa Nelson (Andy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
