For Charles is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Angel Talkington; his parents, John Talkington and Ruthie Talkington; and his brothers, William, Jay and Billy Ray Talkington.
He is survived by: his son Ricky Talkington (Jessica); his grandchildren, Brody and Kaliann Talkington; and his sisters, Christine Dulaney (Von) and Mary Ruth Yon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Scottsboro (674 Snodgrass Rd, Scottsboro, AL 35769). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
