She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Havis Staten; and her grandparents, Blanche Pearl Horton, L. W. Horton (Vula Mae), Cass Samuel Havis Sr. and Betty Lee Horton Havis.
She is survived by: her father Gregory Horton; her siblings, DeCarlo A. Davis, Lance Havis, Ivan Horton, Danuta, Andromeda Hardinger (Sidney), Kchristynia Tolliver, April Allison, Zacchaeus Horton, Shakka Horton, Zackary Humphrey and Jehoshaphat Ellison; and her aunts and uncles, Betty Watkins, Deborah Harris (Marshall), Faye Horton, Glenda Horton, Vickie Horton, David Horton and Stevie Hampton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Livingston Chapel A. M. E. Church (2000 Williamson St, Guntersville, AL 35976). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the Guntersville City Cemetery.
