He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Thrower and Pete Scott; and his brother Timothy Scott. He is survived by: his children, Travis "Chill" Scott and Savannah Taylor (Timon); his grandchildren, Jayse and Oakley Taylor; and his siblings, Patty Phillips, Amanda Thrower, Penny Umphrey, Charles and Brian Scott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Savannah Taylor.
