He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Alice English and Henry Matthew Brewer; his son Scott Hobbs; and his grandson Lee Adams. He is survived by: his wife Cherry L. Brewer; his children, Randy Hobbs, Ellisha Nicks (Chuck), Cherry Wiggins (John) and Bonnie Forrest (Norm); and his grandchildren, Kaytie Maness, John T. Womey, Brady, Brody, Briley Wiggins, Slade Foster, Blake Foster, Kelsi Forrest and Hunter Forrest. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Et Rudder Funeral Home - Scottsboro (716 S Broad St, Scottsboro, AL 35768). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:35 PM at the same location.
