She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Ferguson (Charles Ferguson) and Charles Ferguson; and her son Jeremy Breedwell. She is survived by: her siblings, Stan Ferguson, Bobby Ferguson and Judy Oden; her children, Sonya Lafon (Randy), Shellie McGaha (Jessie) and Audie Murphy (Savannah); her grandchildren, Jonathan Ash, Austin Lafon, Alexis Martin (Cody), Christopher McGaha, Savannah McGaha, Paisley Ford, Brycen Murphy, Canaan Murphy and Hux Murphy; and her great grandchildren, Camryn Ash and Cohen Martin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Goosepond Cemetery (1155 Hancock Dr E, Scottsboro, AL 35768).
