She was predeceased by: her son Alex Laney; her parents, Roy Buchanan and Mae Buchanan; and her sister Helen Buchanan Gaynell Dover. She is survived by: her husband Larry Laney; her son Brad Laney; and her sisters, Katherine Dupree, Lee Curl, Edith Buchanan and Joyce Anderson. She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Broad St Church of Christ (613 S Broad St, Scottsboro, AL 35768). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
