She was predeceased by: her son Gaylen Denson; her son-in-law Mark Cauthen; her parents, Lawrence Oliver and Vella Oliver; and her siblings, James Ellis Oliver, Bettye Scarbrough, Virginia Larrimore, Sue Oliver Sims, Geraldine Audrey and Barbara Dunn Green.
She is survived by: her brother Samuel Oliver; her children, Craig Denson, Kathy Cauthen, Kenny Denson (Traci) and John Denson; and her daughter-in-law Tina Denson. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous other beloved friends and family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence-Brown Funeral Home (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701).
