We announce the death of Arlen Kaldor (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 89. Arlen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odin Kaldor and Jennie Kaldor; his wife Frances "Tootsie" Kaldor; his sister Beverly; his brother-in-law Raymond Bakke; his son Rickey "Slick" Kaldor; and his nephew Dean Bakke.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Kaldor (Diane), Tim Kaldor, Roy Kaldor (Lea Ann) and Ann Caver (Ken); and his grandchildren, Misty Green, Chris Kaldor, Tonya Hicks, Eric Caver, Katherine Privett, Jessica Caver, Kayla Freine, Tiffany Walker, Rylee Irwin and Matthew Kaldor.
