He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Cochran and Etoy Cochran; and his siblings, Gerald Wayne Cochran (Kathy) and Mary Carolyn Leonard. He is survived by: his son Chris Cochran (LeAnn); his stepson Scott Evans (Melissa); his sister Lee Smith; his granddaughter Kali Keplinger (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Ryleigh Keplinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
