He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Bettie" Skipper Strother; his daughter Strother McGilberry (Darren Joe); and his grandchildren, Patrick Chambers McGilberry (Jaylyne Bell), Elizabeth Celie McGilberry and Darius Lee Frank Clifton.
