It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray Ellis (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Dan Ellis and Beulah Mae Buell Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Carnis Ann Wells Ellis; his sons, Brandon Ellis (Stephanie) and Justin Lane Hoppe (Lakesia); his grandchildren, Peyton Ray Ellis, Hanna Grace Ellis, Justin Lane Hoppe, Jr. (Kayla) and Gabriel Langston Hoppe (Caymen); and his sister Trisha Trent (Jeff).
