He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Johnson and Eloise Johnson; his wife Mary Lou Johnson; his in-laws, Willie and Ruth Dorough; his son-in-law Steve Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Vonne Sanders and Sue Graben.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Anderson, Leslie Skelton (Charlie), LuAnn Roberts (Ray) and Allison Smith (Dean); his extended family, Amy Hale, Lisa Bamberg and Cody Elliott; his caregivers, Tajinae White, Takonderia Jones and Nese Burton; his grandchildren, Courtney Ellison (Jason), Will Anderson (Amanda), Kelly Anderson (Jet), Katy Olinger (John Alan), Kent Skelton, Meredith Hill (Michael) and Cole Smith; his great grandchildren, Clay Ellison, Ella Ellison, Brantley Anderson, Weston Anderson, Caroline Anderson, Dale Olinger, Georgia OIinger, Kensley Hill and Kyser Hill; and his cousin Elizabeth Hunnicutt.
