She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bascom Allen and Jewel Mabel Oates Allen; her husband Thomas E. "Tommy" McHugh, Jr.; her brothers, Joseph Enoch Allen (Betty), Robert Henry Allen and Timothy Oates Allen; and her brother-in-law Ben Crew.
She is survived by: her children, Missy Palmer, Matt McHugh (Elizabeth) and Mark McHugh; her grandchildren, Meagan Hill (Hunter), Sarah Palmer, Anna Palmer Stana (Ben), Thomas E. McHugh, III and Lilly McHugh; her great grandchildren, Palmer Hill and Mac Hill; and her sisters, Daph Crew and Betty Istre (Darrell). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in her honor be made to Hospice of West Alabama; 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404.
