He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Nathaniel Calame, Jr. and June Evelyn Meyer Calame; and his sister Jessica Singleton. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bender Calame; his children, Amanda Calame Hood (Jerry) and Leander "Lee" Nathaniel Calame, IV (Kea); his grandchildren, Victoria Hood, Daniel Hood, Christian Hood (Jaylee), Olivia Flowers (Joshua), Margaret Calame and Kylie Calame; his great grandchildren, Rowan Hood and Oakleigh Flowers; and his brother John Calame (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Street Methodist Church (214 Church St, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the New Live Oak Cemetery (110 W Dallas Ave, Selma, AL 36701).
