She was predeceased by: her husbands, John C. Benson and Roland E. Courtney, Jr.; her parents, Hans Albert Pfeiffer and Marion Elizabeth Pfeiffer; her stepson Curtis Owen Benson (Lynn); and her sister Dorothy P. Green.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Benson (Donna), Kenneth J. Benson (Shanon) and Wanda Moody (David); and her brother Hans A. "Sonny" Pfeiffer (Miriam). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
