He was predeceased by: his father Robert Carlton Stapler, Jr.; and his sister Cynthia Stapler Hammerle. He is survived by: his mother Mary Alice Smith Stapler; his brother Robert C. Stapler, III; and his nephews, Scott Hammerle and Clayton Hammerle (Mickey).
