It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Sexton of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Sexton and Marietta Sexton of Montgomery; and also Bill Sexton of Selma, Alabama.. He is survived by : his wife Eddie Joyce Sexton; his daughter Michelle Sexton of Gainesville, Florida; his grandchildren, Callan Acker (Dakota) and Michael Corey Johnson of Gainesville, Florida; his great grandchild EllaGrace Acker; his siblings, Glenn Sexton, Janie O'Gwynn, Joe Sexton (Patty) and Tommy Sexton (Pam); and his pet Bentley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Selma.
