As we bid Randy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Randy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William John and Dora Benton; his brother Kenny Benton; and his grandson Chase Benton. He is survived by : his children, Kevin Benton, Kerri Blackmon (Jere) and Kayla Harper (Alex); his grandchildren, Claire Benton, Kyle Blackmon, Kaleb Blackmon, Hudson Harper and Embry Harper; and also Mike Benton (Aurelia).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (15315 Al Highway 14 W, Selma, AL 36701).
