He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha P. Greene and Ada G. Greene; his former wife Jimmie N. Greene; his son Jimmy T. Greene; his grandson Timothy C. Greene; and his siblings, Willie C. Greene, Otis R. Greene and Catherine Freeman.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie Astin (Ron); his grandsons, Tony Greene (Kristi), Caleb Astin (Lauren) and Collin Astin (Anne); and his stepchildren, Danny Bender, Kathy Weathers (Donald) and Patti Patterson (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at the Pineview Memory Gardens (5255 AL-22, Valley Grande, AL 36701).
