She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lewis Bennett and Dorothy Bell Reese; her stepfather Arthur Reese; her sisters, Yolanda Hatcher and Towanda Bennett; and her niece Tierra Hatcher.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patrick Lewis of Selma, Jeffery Bennett (Audrey) of Athens, GA, Nathaniel Lewis (Varnessa) of Selma, Michael Bennett (Shirley) of Montgomery, Alabama and Lartonyar Bennett Robinson (Tommie) of College Station, Texas; her aunts, Eloise Brown (Oscar) of Chicago and Armour Jean Thigpin; her nieces and nephews, Sadarry Bennett, Tongela Morgan, Nikki Robinson, Towanda Robinson, Alexis Lewis, Nate Lewis II and Trey Robinson; and her sister Linda Lewis.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Aubrey Larkin's Lewis Brothers Funeral Home (1140 Minter Ave, Selma, AL 36703). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Freedom Baptist Church (1910 Summerfield Rd, Selma, AL 36701). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Serenity Memorial Gardens (4660 Water Avenue, Selma, AL 36703).
