He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth B. McKenzie, Jr. and Arden Marion Goodson-McKenzie; his siblings, Marion Goodson "Butch" McKenzie and Merrily Arden McKenzie Thompson; and his sister-in-law Sheila Harrell McKenzie.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Taylor McKenzie of Sprott; his brother Kenneth B. "Buddy" McKenzie, III; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy "Bunny" Wilson McKenzie, James W. Thompson and Steve Taylor. He is also survived by three nieces; one nephew; five great-nieces and two great-nephews.
