He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Cassady and Juanita Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Shaunta Cassady; his children, Joey Cassady, Angela Cassady and Bobby Cassady; his stepchildren, Alicia Smiley, Natasha Smiley and Thomas Smiley Jr.; and his sister Linda Hicks. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
