He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beck and Vora Beck; his son Charles Edwin Beck, Jr.; his siblings, James Walker Beck and Nina Beck Phillips; and his son-in-law Tim Mauldin.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Beck; his daughter Cindy Bain (Joey); his stepdaughters, Sondra Landers (Stan) and Suzanne Mauldin; his grandchildren, Adam Bain (Christina), Grace Bain, Emma Mauldin, Braden Mauldin, Sam Burleson and Jenni Akins; his great grandchildren, Henry Bain, Taegen Burleson, Jaycee Burleson, Cleeten Burleson, Amos Akins, Faris Akins and Rowan Akins; and his niece Susan Phillips Hammond.
