He is survived by: his children, Melissa K. Pierce and Christopher N. Hamm; his sister Bety Katherine Ladesma; and his grandchildren, Jackson C. Barlett, Kendal G. Bartlett and Bailee L. Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
