He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Nesbitt and Sally Nesbitt; his children, Stephanie Nesbitt, Emilee Nesbitt and Joe Huddleston; his brother Randy Nesbitt; and his grandparents, JD and Bet Mosely.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Nesbitt; his daughter Baylee Mixon (Brian); his grandchildren, Caleb Carmack, Caden Carmack and Lakaylee Qualls; and his sister-in-law Susan Fisher Nesbitt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). The lying in state was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church (200 E Commons St N, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Colbert County Animal Shelter, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
