He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde George and Mary George; and his brother Derek Shane Brooks, Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Donna K. Roberts (Mark), Marie Sherrill, Melissa George, Shonda Brooks (Derek), Travis George (Shayna), B. J. George and Larry "Bubba" George. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
