He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Barnett and Jimmy Jones; his aunts, Sallie Hubbard and Minnie Barnett; and his grandsons, Christopher Fuqua and Alontae Nalls.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Shaw; his children, Alonzo Nalls (Beth), Jeremy Shaw (Nechelle Turner-Shaw), Tara Jordan, Tevin Jordan and Penny Freeman; his grandchildren, ShaNiya, Aquanzo, Mason, Kaleigh, Javon, Michael, Sarai and Harden; his great grandchildren, Iviona, Tyrese and LoAmie; his siblings, Mike Shaw, William Barnett, Israel Barnett, Eric Jones (Cindy), Regina Barnett and Betty Lynn Rhodes; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Lewis, James Bailey and Hanson Peete; his uncle Reverend Edgar; and his aunt Alvie Shaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Funeral Home (501 Broad St, Sheffield, AL 35660).
