He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Vaughn and Evaline Vaughn; his wife Dalphene Vaughn; and his siblings, Andrew Vaughn, Betty Joyce Russell, Mary Catherine Giddings, Claude Lindsey Vaughn, Jr. and Deanna Lula Vaughn Gunn.
He is survived by: his children, Mandy Jane Vaughn Wicks, John Thomas Vaughn, Jr. (Debbie) and Sarah Vaughn Holland (Barry); his brother-in-law Tom Anderton (Ann) of England; his grandchildren, Jay Wicks (Tonya), Josh Wicks (Anna), Brandt Holland (Kaitlyn) and Whitney Bullington; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn Wicks, Ryan Wicks, Nathan Wicks, Canie Love, Jackson Love, Kane Johnson and Korra Kaye Bullington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or an animal rescue charity of your choice.
