With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Welborn Dodson of Sheffield, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Dodson; her parents, James Alvin and Irene Green; and her siblings, James Green, Travis Green and Nell Lee.
She is survived by: her son Dale Welborn (Nancy); her siblings, Harold Green, Kenneth Green (Cynthia), Jerry Green (Angie), Charlene Montgomery (Earl Peanutt) and Paulene Thomas; her grandsons, Austin Welborn and Mitch Welborn; and her aunt Connie Spencer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
