It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie McCoy of Sheffield, Alabama, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Gray and Marjorie Hester Moulton Gray; her husband Dr. Ronald Wayne McCoy; and her brother Phillip Gray. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Loren Edward McCoy and Molly McCoy Hood; her sister Sylvia Forbes; her grandchildren, Kaylee Denton Davis, Gray McCoy and Will McCoy; and her great grandchild Nella Grimmett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
