He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Smith Alsbrooks; his parents, John A. Alsbrooks and Ethel M. Alsbrooks; and his sisters, Evelen Cooksey and Lillian Aycock. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nephews.
